Fun stuff and good times! JD's mom dropped in for a short but thorough visit over the long weekend and boy did we have plenty. The sky opened up and it really started to feel like spring had arrived. The Skagit Valley daffodils were blinding while the mountains loomed in the distance with thick blankets of snow. We saw so many bald eagles. We had lots of home cooked tasty food, and washed it all down with plenty of good vino.

Last night we had a great dinner in Seattle with David and Sophia, cousins extraordinaire.

Ooooh, those scenes from Moran State Park take me back! If the EE centre is still there, there are some amazing apple and pear trees in the front yard which lead to an amazing lake. There's also the largest tree I found on its property...8 people around!
